SGIB Magazine Launches First Bilingual Urban Music Magazine, Every month, each issue will include:

The Cover: Reserved for Long Island artists ONLY either established or up-and-coming, with an extensive interview and photographs.

Job Searcher: Highlighting a marketable individual for employment, complete with their assets and strengths.

Giving Back: Highlights individuals on Long Island who "give back" to the community through various means. This special feature column is dedicated to the memory of 18-year-old, Cassie Brown, who was tragically killed.

One day for a class project, all the students were asked to write their eulogy. She simply wrote she wanted to "Give Back." SGIB will honor her wish by featuring a person or an organization that does just that.

Open Mic: Chris Curry, who SGIB is proud to have aboard. His will have a question and answer column related to the entertainment business. Curry is a Svengali for aspiring entertainers. Chris and his partners, Kevin Owens and Travis Milner, run “So You Want to Be a Star, Inc.”, an organization that helps people who believe that they have what it takes to become professional entertainers and they learn just how to make that happen. Curry and company knows the score. Owens is a lead singer with the rhythm and blues group, Ray, Goodman and Brown and is a background vocalist for Luther Vandross. Milner is a keyboardist for soul singer Gerald Levert. Curry has worked with many stars, ranging from Isaac Hayes and Dionne Warwick to the late Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations. Curry and Warwick are currently working on an entertainment-training manual.
