Classrooms that Spark! Sizzles During TeachersÂ’ Choice Awards

Classrooms that Spark!, the newest title from Inspiring Teachers, has won a Teachers' Choice Award from Learning Magazine.

Garland, TX (PRWEB) September 19, 2005

Lighting the fire of learning and putting a spark back into classrooms around the world, Classrooms that Spark!, published by Inspiring Teachers, recently won one of the coveted 2006 Teachers Choice Awards put out by Learning Magazine. The newest title for the 8-year-old company, Classrooms that Spark! showed its true colors during the evaluation and testing process.

“Classrooms that Spark! received excellent reviews,” said Jaymi Bradford of Learning Magazine in her announcement letter. The contest had over 430 products submitted this year and there were approximately seventy teacher “teams” from around the US that evaluated each entry in actual classroom settings. As the letter stated, they were “overwhelmed with the quality and educational value of the products.”

This is the 12th year in which Learning Magazine has offered this prestigious award; the first being in 1994. The program has become one of the most recognized awards in the educational market.

“Each product is evaluated on its own merit. Only those products that meet out teachers’ stringent standards are chosen to receive a Teachers’ Choice Award,” states Bradford. She also comments that Learning Magazines’ Teachers’ Choice award is different than others because it is the only one where products are actually tested out and evaluated in actual working classrooms with real every-day teachers. “What better way to evaluate a product’s educational value than in real-life use?”

Classrooms that Spark! will be featured in the January 2006 issue of Learning Magazine and Inspiring Teachers Publishing will receive a plaque commemorating their accomplishment.
