Blue Ray Technologies and Chatsworth Data Corporation Reach Exclusive Agreement for Super Blu-Ray Discs

Blue Ray Technologies and Chatsworth Data Corporation Reach Exclusive Agreement for Super Blu-Ray Discs

Deal would see single Blu-ray discs that could hold 68 million pages of documents - "Our goal is to store the entire Library of Congress on one disc," says Blue Ray Technologies founder Erick Hansen

Spokane WA (PRWEB) September 9, 2008

Blue Ray Technologies is pleased to announce it has entered into an exclusive agreement with Chatsworth Data Corp. to capture data from forms and documents that can be converted to the Blu-ray disc format, the next generation disc that allows 25-50 GB per disc at present. That would mean each disc could contain from 1.6 million to 34 million pages of documents, depending on their format.

Furthermore, Blue Ray is developing its four-layer 100GB BD that would hold 68 million pages of RTF documents on one disc.

"Our goal is to put the entire Library of Congress on a single disc," said Blue Ray founder and DVD pioneer Erick Hansen. "We can't replace their original Gutenberg Bible or Declaration of Independence draft, but our lofty target is to capture their 34 million books on a single disc within two years."

And those documents could be well protected. Hansen says his company is creating proprietary digital processing and retrieval system for ultra-sensitive documents based on 512K encryption that would be valued by governments and corporations whose data cannot be allowed to be compromised. Present state-of-the-art is only 128K encryption.

"We plan to be America's largest independent digital solutions provider," said Hansen.

"We expect some Blu-ray players to come into the $200-$250 range by the end of the year," predicted Hansen, considered an veteran expert in the field. "That will cause the market explode."

Regarding the recent agreement with Chatsworth Data Corporation, Hansen said, "I could not be happier than to work with a cutting edge company whose document capturing technology runs from vote tabulation and intelligence gathering to healthcare and data management. We look forward to working with them and developing new technologies for the 21st Century and beyond."

Under the agreement, the data from clients would be put into an electronic format and encrypted using Blue Ray Technologies encryption technology.

CDC president and CEO Sid L. Anderson noted, "This is a very significant agreement for Chatsworth Data Corporation. Blue Ray Technologies is the standard in the field of high level encryption technology and for it to choose Chatsworth Data Corporation as its data capture component is a real accomplishment for the Company."

The U. S. Blu-ray pre-recorded disc market will double by the end of the year, with 2008 sales reaching 45 million units, according to top UK research firm Future Source.

There will be plenty of room for independents like Blue Ray Technologies as the majors are not covering everything. On big titles, the share of total sales being taken by BD has already hit 5-6% and by Q4 it is possible we'll see a 10% or even 12% share for some of the really big hitters, the report claims.

Regarding BD-R/BD-RE Media Demand in the US Future Source expects limited demand short-to-medium term due to: penetration of Blu-ray Re-Writer Drives, copy protection of pre-recorded BD titles and broadcast flagging to prevent the copying of HD broadcasts. Also, consequently, we expect prices of BD-R/BD-RE media to remain high in this timeframe, according to Jeremy Wills, consultant at the company.

By 2012, between 40% and 50% of consumer expenditure on video discs will be allocated to Blu-ray according to the latest analysis from Future Source.

What has been disappointing to date for the content companies has been the lack of catalogue title sales, exactly what BRT can help with, though the studios are showing no signs of reducing their interest in catalogue product.

There are now 90,000 DVD titles available according to a key report yesterday, and only 6,000 on Blu-ray, leaving BRT, and the whole industry, with much opportunity.

Blu-ray titles will account for about 12 percent of video sales by the end of the year, the research firm said, and will rise to 61 percent by 2012. In a statement, Future Source managing director Jim Bottoms said, "What has impressed me most is the way the retailers are supporting Blu-ray -- and how much space they are giving over to Blu-ray discs."

Located in Spokane, Washington, Blue Ray Technologies LLC was launched in 2007 to provide next generation Blu-ray digital disk, replication and package assembly services for the computer hardware, software and movie industries. It is the first and only independently owned Blu-ray manufacturer in the United States. The Blue Ray team has been extensively involved in the production of digital disk since 1997. Blue Ray is a closely held private corporation dedicated to providing the best service, prices, quality and turnaround time available in the industry. Charlottesville Waldorf School Continues Campaign to Become the "Greenest School in America"

Charlottesville Waldorf School Continues Campaign to Become the "Greenest School in America"

The “best place to live in America” is on its way to featuring the “Greenest School in America.” Charlottesville, Virginia’s new Charlottesville Waldorf School is in the midst of a $6.2 million capital campaign designed to help the school become the first LEED Platinum elementary school in the country. It will feature a completely integrated “green” design featuring straw bale construction, a rammed earth wall, a living roof, geothermal heating and cooling, water reclamation and passive solar technologies.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (PRWEB) January 24, 2006

The “best place to live in America” is on its way to featuring the “Greenest School in America.”

Charlottesville, Virginia’s new Charlottesville Waldorf School is in the midst of a $6.2 million capital campaign designed to help the school become the first LEED Platinum elementary school in the country. It will feature a completely integrated “green” design featuring straw bale construction, a rammed earth wall, a living roof, geothermal heating and cooling, water reclamation and passive solar technologies.

“This is a project that comes from a deep commitment to the environment that is an integral part of the fabric of the Waldorf education,” said Sarah Tremaine, Chair of the Charlottesville Waldorf Foundation. “At the same time, the project allows us to teach by example and to promote a new, sensible movement among other schools, corporations and individuals. We invite all concerned Americans to play a part in our effort and help to positively impact our environment and those who live in it for generations of Americans to come.”

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is awarded by the U. S. Green Building Council and reserved only for those projects and builders who adhere to the ultimate standards of environmental responsibility. The certification is based on a checklist of environmental factors in six categories: sustainable sites, energy and atmosphere, water efficiency, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality and innovation and design process.

The building is designed by Charlottesville architect and Waldorf School parent Ted Jones. “The process of going from a green project to a LEED Platinum building,” Jones said, “expands the issue of environmentally-friendly design into a national debate on how a building can challenge us all to analyze the connections between resource management and industrial manufacturing.”

The design and building process for the Charlottesville Waldorf School began with extensive site research that provided for the optimal placement of the building, ensuring that light, water and other organic elements are maximized. The process extends through every material used in the construction, from their proximity to the site, to the time and method of transportation, materials used in their manufacturing and more.

While these external elements are critically important to the process and to the short and long term environmental properties of the project, the Charlottesville Waldorf School will also offer a host of benefits for the students and teachers themselves. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, one-half of the 115,000 elementary and secondary schools have significant problems with indoor air pollution, and the problem consistently ranks as one of the top five environmental risks to public health. Both children and adults in “green” buildings have been shown to miss fewer days of school and work, respectively, while exhibiting greater energy to be devoted to learning activities.

The campaign, called “Building a School, LEEDing a Community,” is geared not only toward building the school, but toward galvanizing a community, Tremaine said. “We are creating a school that will be a model of affordability in green design. It allows members of our community, and communities across the country to be part of a brand new business paradigm that is at once local, sustainable and affordable. Starting with Thomas Jefferson himself, Charlottesville has a long and well-documented legacy of groundbreaking thought and activism, and this is a perfect opportunity to showcase those qualities to the world.”

The Charlottesville Waldorf School is one of 900 Waldorf Schools worldwide. For the past 20 years, the school has taught environmental responsibility as an integral part of its curriculum. It has grown from a 12-student kindergarten program to a full 180-student elementary program educating nursery through eighth grade.

Pre-foreclosures Provide Fast-Track Investments for Trump University Real Estate Graduate

Pre-foreclosures Provide Fast-Track Investments for Trump University Real Estate Graduate

Naval officer teams up with Trump University's real estate investing coach to master the art of quick-turn real estate investing.

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 24, 2008

Although foreclosures will continue to grow, 2008 will go on record as the most opportune year for Trump University students interested in investing in valuable discount properties across the nation. Naval officer Joseph Erskine quickly realized that foreclosure homes offer better deals than the regular market, and enrolled in Trump University's Real Estate Investors Training (http://www. trumpuniversity. com/realestate/investment-training-program. cfm) program to learn how to master the art of quick-turn real estate investing. His local Washington marketplace was flooded with pre-foreclosures and as the prices kept going lower Erskine quickly worked with this Trump University real estate mentor to start investing in properties.

After investing in six residential properties, Erskine then worked with his mentor to purchase several other residential properties without using any of his own money or credit. "The powerful negotiating strategies I learned from the Trump University faculty opened all the doors," said Erskine. "Each deal I made used the system of Other People's Monies (OPM). The bottom line was, I did not put any monies into the deals. I walked into each property with tenants and equity already established."

"Erskine moved very quickly toward real estate success by utilizing Trump University's real estate mentors and call-in counseling lines of the Trump Wealth Builder's Network," said Josef Katz (http://twitter. com/directmaestro), Vice President of Marketing at Trump University. "While Erskine had the power of self-application and self-discipline he learned in the Navy, Trump University's expert mentor helped Erskine locate properties and negotiate with sellers and buyers. That gave him the knowledge he needed to successfully close his first deals."

"From the beginning the decision to join the Trump University membership has been a great boost," said Erskine. "It's what led me to become part of a fine organization that I know now as a pivotal point in turning my life in a direction of great wealth and opportunity to help others."

Groupe 369 Corp, A Nationally Recognized Commercial "Private Lender," Continues to Publish Its Informative Series of Educational Borrowing Guidelines for All Commercial Lending Projects

Groupe 369 Corp, A Nationally Recognized Commercial "Private Lender," Continues to Publish Its Informative Series of Educational Borrowing Guidelines for All Commercial Lending Projects

In this series, Groupe 369 Corp under the leadership of David Kastner, offers potential clients an insight into its successful operation and the real world of "Private Money" lending. Groupe 369 feels that the more people know about its services, the greater opportunity exists for a successful business partnership.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 30, 2009

Groupe 369 Corp., found on the Web at Groupe369.com (http://www. groupe369.com) adds to its helpful collection of educational tips for potential commercial real estate clients. This tip takes a look at the importance of the Site Inspection.

"It is important for all potential Groupe 369 Corp. clients to understand the value of always visiting the commercial property site," says David Kastner (http://www. groupe369.com), president of Groupe 369 Corp. "The site inspection is not an option, but an obligation for us to see, up close and personal, the actual property or project site that will be the beneficiary of our loan."

The cost of the site inspection is included in the due diligence fee and Groupe 369 Corp. (http://www. groupe369.com) loan officers have many factors to consider when they arrive at the project:
Is the location accessible and is transportation available to the site? Is there adequate parking available? If the project is a public service facility, does the adjacent community support it? Does a destination project - hotel, motel, amusement park, etc. - make sense at that location?

These questions can only be answered on site by a qualified member of the Groupe 369 private Lending team.

The history of the property is learned from the surrounding community and either on-site or adjacent environmental challenges can be noted. All permits, plans, state and local approvals and easements have been submitted by the borrower and can be verified in the field. Everyone benefits from a thorough site inspection.

"And remember this," David Kastner (http://www. groupe369.com), adds "cosmetics count! Some time spent adding a coat of paint, picking up trash, draining standing water and even mowing down tall grass and weeds show concern for the environment as well as concern for the deal."

The site inspection goes a long way toward determining if the project makes sense for its location, environment and suitability of its function.

College-bound Money: It’s How You Play the Game

College-bound Money: It’s How You Play the Game

For parents and their children preparing for college, there are new rules and tax laws about college funding and financial aid eligibility that could have a big impact how those students and their parents fare financially. Even more complicated, those rules are changing every year. If parents and their dependent students learn how to make the right moves in the college financing game, the average family could potentially lower college costs by thousands of dollars over the four year period their child is in college. Win or lose – it’s how you play the game.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 26, 2006

The federal Higher Education Reconciliation Act a. k.a. Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 brings about changes in college financial planning that are beginning right now. One of the most touted modifications is in the 529 college savings plan, where college-bound students and their parents supposedly get financial incentives for putting money into a 529 plan.

All of that money is then specifically earmarked for college. An example is where parents would transfer money from a custodial account (Uniform Transfer to Minors Act -- in the child’s name but with parental oversight) into a 529 plan. For some families, the move makes sense. For others, taking advantage of this single option could cause some adverse tax and financial aid implications.

Before you start transferring your money to save for college, consider:

Is the 529 plan right for you?

1) Depending on your existing assets, such as stocks or mutual funds, you could be paying a large tax bill if you convert the funds to a 529 account. Determine the amount of untaxed gains before selling stocks or mutual funds, because they will now be taxed if you transfer the funds. In addition, the money in a 529 plan will now be treated as a parental asset. Considering your tax bracket, this could become an expensive issue.

2) All of the growth in a 529 plan is tax-free when used for college. Although the money gets invested like any other mutual fund, there are higher fees charged, limitations on moving money within the plan, and that money can only be used for your student’s education.

3) Keeping your money out of a 529 and in your own name means much more flexibility and freedom in deciding how you choose to make use of your money. Your individually-owned assets can be used in a number of ways, like setting it aside for retirement, family emergencies, or college planning on your own terms. Once the money is in a 529 plan, the feds control how your money can be used – for college – that’s it.

Is it beneficial to have a custodial account set up for your student?

1) Many families have set up custodial accounts, intended specifically for college. The most commonly held assets are cash, stocks, and mutual funds, and the custodian has a great degree of control and flexibility in how those assets are managed and used.

2) Custodial accounts may also be used for certain expenses prior to college; therefore, the overall asset values of the account may be reduced by paying those allowable expenses. Because money is already spent before the college years, the custodial account shows less value, making it possible to apply for more financial aid.

3) The account assets will revert to the child when they reach the age of majority (18 to 21 years old), so if you want to maintain control of the money, make your decisions before that time.

How do the federal tax laws impact college planning?

1) Taxpayers in the lowest tax brackets may be able to take advantage of the zero dividend and capital gains law. On May 17, 2006 President Bush signed the “Tax Increase Prevention and Reconciliation Act of 2005” (TIPRA) into law for tax years 2008 through 2010.

2) TIPRA also made some changes to the “kiddie tax” laws. The “kiddie tax” laws set limits on the maximum investment income a child can receive ($1,700) before the excess is taxed at the parents’ rate.

3) TIPRA currently states that teens will have to pay taxes on excess investment income received only after the age of 18. The new law, raising the age limit, has an impact on how custodial accounts can be managed and when they can be liquidated for college.

Is there anything I can take advantage of now?

1) The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA, is available to all students, and is used most often as the starting point in the financial aid. The most recent version of the FAFSA (released on 6/7/06) has a loophole that may increase available aid. The FAFSA says that education accounts (including 529 plans) owned by the student should not be reported on the application form. The form gives the appearance that these asset values will be excluded in their entirety from the financial aid calculation, so that again, on paper, your look more eligible for financial aid.

2) Will this loophole be eliminated in the final version of the FAFSA? It’s a roll of the dice.

Is there an appropriate time to start positioning your financial resources for college?

1) With a student going to college in 2007, tax data is used from 2006. Deciding where to put assets and in whose name must be determined long before the student starts applying for college.

2) Get an early start on putting the college financing pieces together. You will maximize your opportunities to save money by starting at least two years before the student will be entering college.

Remember, it’s not always the plan you choose, but how you play the game.

CARY, N. C. (PRWEB) December 5, 2007

"Our goal is simple," said Eric Strause, Product Director, Cisco Product Management. "We want to remain the clear industry leader in providing CCNA training options that meet the needs of our students and their current or future employers. With the ever-widening gap in networking skills and number of people required to perform them, we want to provide educational experiences and training options that incorporate best practices, which include extended access to course content and labs that reinforce what is learned in the classroom."

The Global Knowledge CCNA Boot Camp is a challenging five-day course, featuring more depth of material with time dedicated to lecture and real-world labs on live, up-to-date hardware versus simulations.

"The post-class e-Labs were very helpful to consolidate the lessons I learned from the Boot Camp," said Mike Yang, a network specialist. "The best news is that I recently passed the CCNA exam," he added.

"We have delivered CCNA Boot Camp training longer than any other Cisco training partner," said Strause. "With the more challenging course material, it's more important than ever to improve the learning experience by including our web site-hosted pre-assessment tool, enhanced labs, and 10 hours of post-course access to practice on the same equipment used in those labs."

In addition to the blended learning approach, Global Knowledge also offers one of the most robust guarantees in the industry for students seeking CCNA certification. Any student who fails the initial exam will be given a second exam voucher. If the second attempt also fails, the student may elect to re-take the CCNA Boot Camp course, free of charge, on a space-available basis.

"All around, the CCNA Boot Camp was the probably the best training I've ever attended," said Justin Benson, a government network analyst. "Everything about the course was above par--from the facilities to the detailed instruction, and without doubt, to the level of professionalism and experience that the instructor displayed."

Individually, the Global Knowledge ICND1 and ICND2 courses have greater breadth, less redundancy, and include security, troubleshooting, and basic wireless networking. Fifty percent of the new course curriculum is dedicated to hands-on labs, which help students quickly apply their new skills.

Based on the Authorized Cisco ICND1 course, and enhanced to ensure the best possible coverage of key technology topics, the Global Knowledge CCENT e-Camp provides solid, practical knowledge of modern TCP/IP networks built with Cisco hardware, allowing students to gain the real-world functional skills required for entry-level network support positions. The CCENT product includes the CD Self-Paced learning materials, 25 e-Lab credits for practicing the labs, and an exam voucher.

"Our CCENT and CCNA e-Camps bundle course content, remote lab access, and certification exam vouchers, and are offered as an alternative delivery method for students who either cannot attend classroom training, or who wish to learn at their own pace," said Strause.

Global Knowledge also provides On-Site delivery of its ICND1, ICND2, and CCNA Boot Camp courses for companies seeking a private setting. "We provide everything you need for seamless On-Site training including software, hardware, equipment, course content and materials, and, of course, our expert instructors. With On-Site training, instructors can drill down into your company projects and specific training requirements without compromising confidentiality, security, or privacy," said Michael Fox, Global Knowledge senior vice president. "In addition, ICND1 and ICND2 are offered via Virtual Classroom e-Learning, which features live, instructor-led training delivered via the Internet."

Leading Piano Education E-Store YokeWong. net, Launches Piano Accompaniment Course On March 27th, 2008

Piano Educational E-Store YokeWong. net launches new piano dvd course targeting adults who are interested in learning how to accompany on piano.

Corona, CA (PRWEB) March 27, 2008

Many piano players today are interested in playing recreationally, accompanying themselves (or someone else) singing. An in-house survey composed in December 2007 (2,000 adult piano players responded) reflects that 64% of piano players are interested in learning piano accompaniment techniques. Appealing to this large percentage of interest, YokeWong. net has developed a DVD Home-study course to address the growing needs of pianists.

The new course, "Mastering The Art of Piano Accompaniment" is set to be launched on Thursday, March 27th, 2008. It includes 3 DVDs, totaling 3 hours of instruction. These DVDs will also be paired with a booklet of 36 pages which includes lead sheets and accompaniment scores. The problem that most players have when playing with a singer is that they do not know how to play harmonies in an accompaniment style. Doubling the melody is not recommended for playing with the singer. This course will cover different patterns and techniques on accompaniment, and give many rhythm options to create different musical styles such as rock, ballads, country and jazz.

Founded in 2002, YokeWong. net has become one of the leading online piano education publishers available. The company provides premium products through their customer friendly internet retail store. Yoke Wong, the founder of this thriving company, is excited to share her talents with the world by providing comprehensive and step-by-step piano instruction through DVD courses. Ms. Wong's e-store has grown ten-fold in volume since its first year of production, and continues to serve thousands of pianists in more than 70 countries.

Mastering the Art of Piano Accompaniment course can be purchased for $125, but the first 200 people to order will receive it for only $99. You can order it at the following link: www. howtoaccompany. com.

(PRWEB) March 6, 2005

The Dental Assistant students at Pima Medical Institute, 2201 San Pedro NE, Building 3, Suite 100 in Albuquerque went from their campus into the classroom at H. T. Jaramillo Elementary to help the elementary school children learn more about proper dental hygiene during National ChildrenÂ’s Dental Health Month. The message focused on brushing, flossing and avoiding sugar. The future dental assistants used interactive, hands-on demonstrations to make the lessons useful, as well as fun for the children.

“The best time to learn a good habit, such as proper flossing and brushing, is when the children are young,” said Luis Santillan, the dental assistant program instructor. “A lot of children, and even a lot of adults, don’t know the right techniques. We really hope they will take what they learned from us and go home and practice after every meal and before bedtime.”

The Dental Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute is 30 weeks for the day program or 33 weeks for the evening program. Anyone interested in the program, or having the Dental Assistant students demonstrate dental hygiene techniques to children should call toll free at 888-442-5998.

PMI is one of the premiere medical career colleges in the western United States. The privately owned, accredited school provides students with a well-rounded education embracing theoretical classroom studies, as well as on-site training at medical facilities that mirror the working environment they will pursue after graduation.

PMI has been serving students since 1972, with campuses in: Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mesa and Tucson, AZ; Chula Vista, CA, Seattle and Renton, WA; Las Vegas, NV; as well as Colorado Springs and Denver. Multicultural Children's Book: A Parent and Child Whose Love Transcends Death and Transforms a Community

Multicultural Children's Book: A Parent and Child Whose Love Transcends Death and Transforms a Community

Ohio Author M. LaVora Perry's "Wu-lung & I-lung" presents an ancient Chinese legend of a master calligrapher and his equally skilled son. After the son is forced by the ruler to disobey his father's dying wish, the pair's love reaches past death to heal a suffering community.

(PRWEB) September 30, 2004

East Cleveland, Ohio…Author M. LaVora Perry’s WU-LUNG & I-LUNG is an illustrated children’s story of a love between a father and son that transcends death and transforms a community. The tale is based on an ancient Chinese legend that Perry discovered in the writings of the 13th century sage, Nichiren. The story relays how, on his deathbed, master calligrapher, Wu-lung, asks his son, I-lung, to never write the Lotus Sutra teaching. I-lung agrees, but is later forced by the ruler to break his promise. I-lung is utterly guilt-ridden—believing he has betrayed his father’s last wish—until a surprise visitor brings him wonderful news. Wu-lung & I-lung’s futuristic illustrations by Norio Saneshige received an Addy® Award from the American Advertisers Federation.

WU-LUNG & I-LUNG can be read to children ages five and up, and read by children who read on the third grade level and up.

CHINESE INFLUENCE

M. LaVora Perry first personally encountered Chinese culture when she worked as a waitress for four years at a Tina Chinese restaurant in midtown Manhattan. While there she made friends with co-workers from countries ranging from China to Haiti to Egypt to Bangladesh. Her experience at the restaurant, coupled with research on Chinese culture and history, helped shape her rendition of WU-LUNG & I-LUNG. “The father and son story was a great comfort to me during a personal time of grief,” she says. “I hope my version uplifts the children who read it—especially those who have lost someone they love.”

ENDORSED BY BILL CLINTONÂ’S FORMER DIARIST

Children’s groups in Malaysia are utilizing WU-LUNG & I-LUNG, and it received the following endorsement from U. S. President Bill Clinton’s former personal diarist, Janis F. Kearney, author of Cotton Field of Dreams: “What a beautiful book…I was mesmerized by the story.”

Scholastic children’s author, Carol Parenzan Smalley, had this to say about the book: “…delightfully intriguing and educational story. I shared it with my…daughter. It opened many new doors of discussion for us about life, death, family and community.”

MAKING MULTINATIONAL HISTORY

In 1995 Perry became the first African-American staff card writer in the world's largest publicly-owned greeting card company—American Greetings. As such her words have appeared on gift items in six countries, including in Spanish translation in Mexico.

PerryÂ’s first children's book, Taneesha's Treasures of the Heart, was warmly received by readers worldwide. The book is on the reading list for Ohio's largest school district (Cleveland), in libraries and schools across the U. S., and is requested for inclusion in the curriculum of Zambian public shools.

In 2004 Perry launched her own publishing company, Forest Hill Publishing. WU-LUNG & I-LUNG is published under the company's children's imprint, Fortune Child Books.

DiFORCE is proving value to teachers by giving them a system and tools to enhance their ability to tap into the untapped skills, abilities and creativity of students to motivate them to take responsibility for their own education, have a passion to learn and achieve greater success.

(PRWEB) November 15, 2003

An Atlanta-based company, DiFORCE is a Management, Consulting and Training Solutions Provider established in 2001. DiFORCE along with Daywheel, Inc. a Knowledge Management Company addresses a major problem faced by many Teachers, Educators, and Administrators. The ability to find new innovative ways to increase our youths passion to learn, take responsibility for their education and motivate them to achieve greater success. "We intend to promote a more effective exchange in the classroom between Teachers and Students" said Andre' Sanders, Managing Partner DiFORCE.

Mr. Sanders added, "We know there are some challenges in the Education system with respect to budgets, bureaucracy, curriculums and so on. However, while those issues are working themselves out from the top down, we need to have an effective strategy at the point of impact TODAY." Kids are failing miserably in Georgia as compared to other school systems across the country. DiFORCE mentioned, "The numbers from test scores are disappointing and in some cases embarrassing. We cannot wait for the system to miraculously overhaul itself overnight. We should look at it from a teacher by teacher perspective. This means evaluating and strengthening their own personal system and professional value.”

DiFORCE has implemented a cutting-edge program at Stone Mountain High School in Georgia under the care and direction of Ralph Simpson, Principal. DiFORCE was referred to Principal Simpson after facilitating training to Georgia's Department of Labor, Jobs for Georgia program, which includes 18 supervisors in charge of the program statewide. "Aside from the referral, we looked at Stone Mountain first because of their history, progressive student body and forward thinking programs. Particularly, the transition students had to make with creating their own identity from the perception of a predominately mainstream school to a largely represented African American student body was totally intriguing and phenomenal," stated Mr. Sanders. Mr. Simpson is the first African American Principal in the schools history and is labeled as the NEW AGE 21st Century Principal. Stone Mountain also houses the main office of the Family Technical Resources Center www. ftrc. org. A federally and Corporate funded resource center for families and communities to receive their GED's, Cisco and Microsoft certifications along with life and soft skills training (over 13 locations across DeKalb County). The school brings a variety of resources and partnerships to the table.

"We interviewed Principal Simpson for over 4 hours to get his perspective and vision allowing us to capture the proper theme's, vocabulary and desired goals. It is important that we administered a full assessment to understand the history of the school, the culture, its identity and the environment that exists then and now," said Mr. Sanders.

DiFORCE's program includes a 3-hour workshop that focuses on the teacher's professional value. "In essence, they will become out-of-the-box thinkers. This practice is a lifestyle, people do not turn creative thinking on and off as needed. Either you have it or you do not. You must practice and have a routine," said Mr. Sanders. In addition to the workshop, a software program shrinks the classroom for Teachers with ease-of-use management, lesson planning, accountability and student-focused technology which cuts traditional labor-intensive tasks by 40%. This means more time for teaching.

Sanders concluded, “Children are the most imaginative, creative dreamers in the world. We all were born out-of-the-box. As we became adults, we failed to take that childhood imagination into our adulthood. That is really what a Genius is-- Someone who had the ability to take his or her childhood imagination and creative spirit into adulthood. However, some Educators fail to tap into the untapped skills, abilities and passion to learn which exists in their students. Their intellectual horsepower is percolating and bubbling over. Can we get to it and leverage it?

DiFORCE Daywheel is currently in discussions with several school systems in Georgia.

The International Association of Haunted Attractions expects Halloween-related sales to generate more than $5 billion in revenue in 2008. The Halloween season begins Friday with many of the nation's largest haunted attractions opening for business on Friday. Over the past 15 years the one-day event of Halloween has turned into one of the largest holiday seasons of the year, second only to Christmas.

Niles, MI (PRWEB) September 17, 2008

The International Association of Haunted Attractions, celebrating its tenth year representing the Halloween industry's finest, expects Halloween-related sales to generate more than $5 billion in revenue in 2008. Over the past 15 years the one-day event of Halloween has turned into one of the largest holiday seasons of the year, second only to Christmas.

"Halloween has turned into big business in the United States but at its core it will always be an opportunity for adults to be just as scared as we were when we were kids," International Association of Haunted Attractions president Tim Gavinski said. "The IAHA and its members go to great lengths to create the safest and scariest environments possible and those efforts have translated into continued economic growth for the industry."

According to a recent survey of adults 18 and over conducted for the industry, 58.7% of those surveyed responded that they would participate in Halloween activities this year. In addition, the average spending has risen to more than $64.82 per person, up from $44.50 just six years ago.

During the 2007 Halloween season, costume sales accounted for $1.82 billion, candy sales were at over $1.5 billion and decorations represented $1.39 billion. In 2008, the calendar appears to be working in the industry's favor, which has International Association of Haunted Attractions' officials optimistic about the upcoming season.

"With five weekends in October and Halloween falling on a Friday, we anticipate 2008 to be a banner year for fun and fear," Gavinski continued.

The International Association of Haunted Attractions is a non-profit organization celebrating its tenth anniversary of assisting and advancing the haunted attraction and entertainment industry through communication, education and information. The association has grown to include more than 400 members across the country. For more information on the International Association of Haunted Attractions, visit www. iahaweb. com.

TalentTrack to Sponsor Human Capital Institute’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing Initiatives

The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and TalentTrack, a recruitment process outsourcing firm, announced today that TalentTrack will sponsor HCI’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) education and research track. The track is one of several topics addressed in HCI’s Talent Acquisition community of interest, a community HCI considers critical to organizations working to leverage human capital.

Washington, D. C. (PRWEB) August 17, 2006

Organizations seeking a strategic edge are turning more frequently to external firms specializing in end-to-end HR functions. One aspect of HR outsourcing is recruitment process outsourcing (RPO).

Although RPO can be a viable alternative, it is often difficult for organizations to analyze how it might meet their needs. Accordingly, this track will focus on first ascertaining if RPO is a strategic and cost effective solution. Organizations will then learn how to determine when and what pieces of the recruitment process to outsource, and what parts of talent management it should own.

The RPO track will explore key components of a successful RPO partnership, as well as the potential benefits of engaging an external firm for recruitment services.

A panel of expert advisor explores the latest RPO services that can reduce the cost of recruitment and improve quality of hire, sharing information with human capital professionals through Webcasts, white papers, education, and other resources.

“Recruitment process outsourcing, when implemented correctly, can be highly effective. But it involves more than merely relying on an external firm for services,” said Allan Schweyer, HCI’s President & Executive Director. “This track will provide insight into what RPO entails, helping organizations implement solutions that are aligned with their overall talent management strategies.”

“As the war for talent heats up, more companies are seeking ways to gain greater competitive advantage. For many firms, recruitment process outsourcing offers a solution,” said Kim R. Davis, President of TalentTrack. “We’re pleased to support HCI’s efforts in this area.”

More information about HCI's education and research tracks is available at www. humancapitalinstitute. org

The Debt Settlement Industry Announces Their 2010 Leadership Conference Held at the Wynn Las Vegas Oct. 10th - Oct. 12th

The Debt Settlement Industry Announces Their 2010 Leadership Conference Held at the Wynn Las Vegas Oct. 10th - Oct. 12th.

The Debt Settlement Industry Announces Their World-Renowned 2010 Leadership Conference To Be Held at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort Sunday Oct. 10th Through Tuesday Oct. 12th.

Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) June 24, 2010

Building on last year’s inaugural success, the 2010 Debt Settlement Leadership Conference sponsored by New Beginnings Debt Settlement, LLC & Greenspoon Marder, P. A. has kicked things up another notch by partnering with the world-renowned Wynn Las Vegas Resort for the debt settlement industry’s premier event.

Last year, the event was held at the Venetian / Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas and drew over 200 of the industry’s best and brightest minds to discuss a wide array of topics such as compliance, training, software and marketing strategies just to name a few. This year’s event aims to build off of last years and incorporate some of the same ideas and themes while building on numerous participant suggestions.

The number of Americans currently in need of assistance financially continues to grow at a staggering rate. For many people, debt settlement is the last and best alternative to bankruptcy. The 2010 Debt Settlement Leadership Conference held at the Wynn Las Vegas Resort is a pivotal meeting point where companies in the industry will meet and discuss the future of debt settlement. This event will be held Sunday October 10th through Tuesday October 12th.

“Since Debt Settlement is an important service for the consumer, it’s also just as important if not more that 3rd party service providers such as New Beginnings Debt Settlement, LLC and others have access to educational platforms and conferences such as the Debt Settlement Leadership conference. It promotes full compliance, continued education, and overall safety for the consumer,” says Brian Fox, Director of Business Development for New Beginnings Debt Settlement, LLC.

While the agenda is still in the works, already slated to present are representatives from the legal side of the industry, several key players from the creditor side, venture capital and private equity funding groups, representatives from debt settlement software companies and lead generation / sales firms.

One of the primary goals of this conference will be to further enhance the best practice standards that companies in the industry should be following. While it’s commonly thought that a few bad apples ruin the bunch, the debt settlement industry is aiming to eliminate the bad players in their industry, no matter how few, in an effort to provide the best settlement and negotiation services possible for each and every consumer.

A lot of press has been made recently with the introduction of several new key pieces of legislation at both the state and federal levels. These items will be covered in great detail to help the industry understand and digest the challenges that face each and every company today and into the future.

About the 2010 Debt Settlement Leadership Conference.
The Debt Settlement Leadership Conference was established by New Beginnings, LLC in early 2009 to help companies within the debt settlement industry come together in an annual setting to discuss ideas collectively and further the interests of the industry as a whole. It is not a trade group like USOBA or TASC (both integral and important parts of the industry). The company has offices in Jupiter, Florida, Mobile, Alabama, and Corona, California.
