Kansas City, MO (Vocus/PRWEB) December 22, 2010

Think Big Partners and the Kansas City Business Journal have announced the formation of a media partnership to jointly produce Think Big Kansas City 2011, the Premier Conference for Entrepreneurs, Investors and Startups.

The inaugural Think Big Kansas City was held in March of 2010 before a sold-out crowd of more than 425 attendees. The event featured more than fifteen educational sessions on topics including venture capital, starting a business, marketing, PR, and legal and government affairs. Each session was delivered by an experienced entrepreneur or business insider, including former congressmen Kenny Hulshof and Martin Frost as well as keynote speaker Chris Gardner whose real life story of perseverance was the basis of the Hollywood blockbuster, “The Pursuit of Happyness”. Think Big Kansas City 2010 provided entrepreneurs with a full day of content and collaboration to help grow their businesses.

Together, Think Big Partners and the Kansas City Business Journal will host the Premier Conference on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Kansas City. Featuring even more inspirational speakers, business presenters, and networking opportunities, Think Big Kansas City 2011’s attendance is expected to exceed last year’s program and is predicted to reach even more entrepreneurs on a national level.

“There has never been a better time, or a more important time, to help entrepreneurs in this country,” says Tyler Prochnow, partner and co-founder of Think Big Partners. “With our partnerships, we are creating the right team to make sure entrepreneurs have the best chance of success. We can connect them to resources, capital and people from across the country in the shortest amount of time, helping them quickly grow their companies. Think Big Kansas City is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to grow and for partnerships to be made on a national level.”

Think Big Partners, an early-stage business incubator, startup accelerator and mentorship-based collaborative workspace, will help more entrepreneurs, investors and startups succeed through the expanded resources that the Kansas City Business Journal partnership provides. The Journal, with its in-depth weekly coverage of top local business news, is a natural partner to work with Think Big Partners due to their commitment, support and coverage of entrepreneurship and business in the Kansas City community. As an American City Business Journal, the Kansas City Business Journal will help to achieve the nationwide outreach that Think Big Kansas City 2011 is eager to develop in order to achieve maximum impact for entrepreneurs, communities and stakeholders across the country.

Think Big Partners is currently accepting applications and nominations for speakers and presenters for Think Big Kansas City 2011 through February 18, 2011.
