Internet Marketing For Management Consultants Will Be The Subject Of The IMC Monthly Dinner Meeting On May 16, 2006

The IMC dinner will address internet marketing for management consulting firms which will include search engine marketing for consultants, and feature presentations from officers of Bruce Clay, Inc. and SOHO Prospecting.

“Internet Marketing for Management Consulting Firms” will be the theme of the May monthly dinner meeting of the Institute of Management Consultants’ (IMC) Southern California Chapter to be held on Tuesday, May 16, at the LAX Renaissance Hotel (9620 Airport Blvd.). A one hour afternoon workshop on search engine optimization will begin at 4:30 p. m. and the dinner meeting will start at 6 p. m. and focus on search engine marketing for consultants.

In the evening dinner session, Bruce Clay, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bruce Clay, Inc., an Internet business consulting firm noted for its expertise in Search Engine Optimization training and services, will speak on the topic of search engine marketing for consultants and individual professionals. He will provide attendees with information regarding cutting edge methods of gaining Web visibility for their practices.

A veteran executive with several high-technology businesses, Clay is an experienced speaker and has addressed over 80 conferences and other forums throughout the United States. He has authored many advanced search engine optimization tools and is a respected media information source, having been quoted in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, PC Week, Smart Money and Wired magazine.

Speaking at the afternoon workshop will be Dale DeHart and Chris Samojen, President and Search Engine Specialist, respectively, of SOHO Prospecting, a Camarillo, CA-based marketing company which provides consulting and marketing services to owners of small-and-medium-sized independent businesses. They too will address search engine marketing for consultants, and will provide information and recommendations for developing code and content for the creation of an effective website for consultants.

DeHart has a technical and business background and has previously held senior management positions with major high tech corporations such as Hewlett Packard, TRW and Motorola before founding SOHO Prospecting in 2001. At SOHO Prospecting, Samojen focuses on natural search traffic. He is Search Engine Optimization certified and also has a background in, and knowledge of, paid search marketing. Together, they are consultants for search engine marketing.
