Comprehensive Health Education Foundation Hires Entrepreneur to Lead MissionWise™

MissionWise™, a division of Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C. H.E. F. ®) that mentors, trains, and consults with organizations on entrepreneurial strategies for the social sector, announced that it has hired Marc Fine as its new Director.

MissionWise™, a division of Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C. H.E. F. ®) that mentors, trains, and consults with organizations on entrepreneurial strategies for the social sector, announced that it has hired Marc Fine as its new Director. In this position, Fine assumes a leadership role, reporting directly to Larry Clark, President and Chief Executive Officer of C. H.E. F. Fine will have responsibility for overseeing planning and implementation of all activities for the division, and will initially lead a team of ten professionals.

With much of his professional career spent in the health care field, Fine is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur whose experience includes healthcare administration, business development, marketing, project management, and strategic planning. In addition, Fine has worked in a broad range of organizations that range from large corporations to small, entrepreneurial start-ups, in both the private and public sectors.

Fine joins C. H.E. F. from FineTek, LLC, a Washington-based independent marketing and business planning consultancy, where he worked with a variety of clients such as Siemens, Microvision, WaveSCAN Corporation, and Alliance Surgical Group. Prior to this, Fine founded Physicians e-Care, an Internet-based communications company that served both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. Earlier in his career, Fine was employed in leadership positions at VAST (Voice Activated Systems Technologies, Inc.), SRI International (Stanford Research Institute), La Clinica de La Raza, Inc., Diasonics, Inc., and Procter and Gamble.

Fine received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Sonoma State College, his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of California in San Francisco, and his Master of Public Health degree from the University of California in Berkeley.
