Oak Ridge, TN (PRWEB) January 15, 2006

Ron Eslinger, owner and director of the Healthy Visions Wellness Center in Oak Ridge, TN will be offering his Transforming Stress workshop on January 26th, 2006. This workshop which is open to anyone interested in learning how to better manage the stress in their lives will be taught at his center’s educational facility located at 800 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Suite A-208.

Job stress costs Americans in excess of $300 Billion annually. That’s $300 Billion with a capital “B”. Stress is a known trigger for health maladies such as Stress Induced Headaches, Migraine Headaches, Chronic Post Surgical Pain, Cancer Pain, Fibromyalgia, Back and Neck Pain, Temporomandibular Disorder, Tic Douloureux, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and ED as well as being a prime suspect in igniting many other disorders. That is a lot of pain and aggravation.

A recent study commissioned by the United States Navy found that the top most stressful occupations were 1. Teaching, 2. Nursing, 3. Management, 4. Other Professionals, 5. Social Workers, 6. Road Transport, & Police and Prison Officers. Many who do not work in these fields directly, certainly work around these stress filled individuals and are affected accordingly. It really affects everyone to some degree. On an average workday in the U. S., an estimated one million workers do not make it to work due to stress and an average of $26 Billion are paid out each year in disability claims related to stress.

Participants in this workshop will learn not only just what stress is along with its sources but will begin to understand how to use coping skills, what may block those coping skills and how to avoid those roadblocks to wellness. They will learn how to develop personal stress coping plans which allow them to look at the problem objectively, focus, utilize available resources to aid in stress reduction and begin to understand the role that nutrition plays stress and stress management. Besides the Personal Stress Coping Plan, attendees will take away a work place Conflict Checklist, Keys to Team Building, a stress Management Workbook and a 2 CD program to enhance sleep and relaxation.

Here is what some have said of Mr. Eslinger’s workshops and seminars. “… Unquestionably, this has been the most comfortably intense practical and implementable seminar I have attended.” Says Walter Laesch, CRNA. P. O’Kelley wrote “ Wonderful! Ron was humorous, fun and very easy to listen to! Exceptional!” "Many thanks… you are a terrific mentor and educator." says S. Johnston of Chesapeake, VA.

This workshop will be conducted at the Healthy Visions Wellness Center Classroom located at 800 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Suite A-208 in the Jackson Plaza tower and will be held from 1:00 p. m. to 5:00 p. m. Registration is $75.00 and taken on a first come, cirst served basis. Be sure you register early to decrease your stress.
