Kansas City Utility Takes Inventory at Syclo Mobile Conference
Syclo Partner Ventureforth Teams with KC Board of Utilities, a Syclo Mobile Conference Presenter, to Deploy a Mobile Enterprise Solution for Oracle PeopleSoft

Kansas City Board of Utilities, a water and electric utility serving 65,000 customers, is using the new application on Motorola MC9090 devices to streamline processes for its storerooms, water processing plant and service center. They list such benefits as more reliable off-line capabilities, improved security and better error tracking. “With Ventureforth’s development expertise, we were able to go live with mobile for our warehouse and field workers in just six months,” said Nick Scherzer of Kansas City Board of Utilities. “We were particularly happy with the drastic improvement in cycle count processes and easy integration to PeopleSoft and other backend systems.”
