On Friday night some of the biggest athletes and brands in the surf and skate industry united to raise money for poor African farmers. Spicy was proud to work along side of some of the industry's coolest brands including Macbeth, Wrong, Hurley and Billabong. Athletes such as Danny Way, Timmy Curran, Pat Duffy, Cory Duffle and many others donated their time by signing autographs. Chris Cote of Transworld Surf and David Kennedy of Angels and Airwaves hosted the live auction and Erin Hawk and Kari Delonge coordinated efforts on the silent auction to raise enough money to purchase 20 cows for poor African families. Escalera opened for Timmy Curran playing for a sold out crowd. Spicy supported the event with volunteers and donated items, and Spicy tops and dresses were spotted on many of the coolest local girls including Kari Way, Erin Hawk, Jennifer Miller, Molly Halterman and international model Sandy Humphrey as well as many other local girls who attended the event. Eliana Stefani, Spicy's designer was also spotted at the event sharing the cool vibe of giving back to those in need.
