He co-presented “Direct Actions Against Insurance Companies” at the Mealey’s Asbestos Insurance Conference held June 8, 2005. On June 9, 2005, Migliori also participated in a panel discussion entitled “Perspectives on Class Action Litigation” at the 2005 Rhode Island Bar Association Annual Meeting held at the Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

The Mealey's conference included an intensive educational program providing defense and plaintiffsÂ’ attorneys, investors, insurers, and reinsurers with information regarding critical developments in asbestos litigation, trends in claims filing, including products and non-products coverage claims, vital insurance allocations and reinsurance issues arising from asbestos claims, and insurance implications of asbestos bankruptcies.
At the Bar Association conferece he and other panelists discussed the most timely and important aspects of class action litigation, including the latest developments in case law, class action arbitration, removal, advantages and disadvantages of federal and state court litigation, and alternatives to class actions.
After graduating from Brown University, Migliori earned a masterÂ’s degree in early American legal history from Syracuse UniversityÂ’s Maxwell School of Public Citizenry and worked as a freelance photographer and an English teacher in Portugal. He earned a law degree from SyracuseÂ’s College of Law. Migliori is a frequent speaker on legal issues relating to terrorist financing, aviation security, class action litigation, premises liability in class action litigation, and tobacco company liability, and is an adjunct professor at Roger Williams School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Minnesota and Rhode Island.
