The International CAD Council (ICC) was created to provide design related user groups, schools, and professional organizations with the tools they need to promote themselves.

The ICC was formed by Brian Myers (President of the Gateway Autodesk User Group of St Louis), Tom Sutton (President of the NJ Autodesk User Group) and Melanie Stone (Editor of the GAUG Newsletter and Autodesk User Group International Survey Manager) when they saw a need to support design education that currently wasn't being met.

The Council is free to join for individuals as well as organizations and provides its members with free items and contacts with organizations that would like to support them. The Council also provides a free monthly newsletter as well as helpful links and resources on its website.
