Young Marines a non-profit youth organization is having a carwash in Phoenix.

The Young Marines of the Marine Corps League, Ira Hayes Detachment. And Winner of the Governments Fulcrm Shield award for ati-drug program for children, will be having a carwash Saturday.

The Firebird Young Marines, who are part of the Marine Corps Anti-Drug Program for children will be having a carwash on Saturday October 4th, 2003. The funds from the carwash go directly to fund activities and encampments. The carwash will be held at McDonaldÂ’s Restaurant at 43rd avenue and Thunderbird from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.

The Young Marines is a non-profit 501(c) 3 youth education program for boys and girls ages 8 through high school. The program focuses on character building through a combination of self-discipline, teamwork and leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
