Homeschooling writer and veteran homeschooler Jeanne Faulconer will present sessions entitled “Swimming Out of the Mainstream,” “Balance, Boundaries, and Bravery,” and “Let Your House Do the Homeschooling.” Award-winning storyteller Jim Weiss will also captivate audiences in “Animal Tales” and “Abraham Lincoln and the Heart of America.”

Workshop topics include: “Beginning Homeschooling,” “Matching Your Child to the Right College,” “Out of the Ordinary Field Trips in Virginia,” “Exploring the Options in Homeschooling Curriculum,” and “Science for Middle and High Schooler.” A seven-member teen panel will address issues that are particular to the teen years: goal setting, resource discovery, motivation and peer pressure.

With registration options beginning at only $20.00, the conference is truly a bargain.
