Holiday Garden and Train Show

November 24 through January 7

A 30-foot holiday tree twinkles with lights inside the nation's most glorious Victorian glasshouse, the centerpiece of the old-fashioned charm of the Holiday Garden and Train Show. Outside the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, visitors are bathed in a dazzling world of holiday light from a canopy of boughs above. At the Holiday Train Show, miniature trains wind through inviting landscapes of waterfalls, bridges, mountains, and streams, beside replicas of New York's most beautiful historic houses and skyscrapers, all made of natural materials. With caroling, puppet shows, Thomas the Tank Engine, and more, the Garden is never more festive than during the holidays!

Holiday Garden and Train Show - November 24 - January 7

The magnificent Enid A. Haupt Conservatory hosts one of New York's most popular holiday traditions! In a miniature world of sylvan landscapes and historic Old Town New York, trains and trolleys wend their way across rustic bridges, disappearing into forest tunnels to reappear with a surprising flourish. Beautiful historic houses from New York's five boroughs pop up along the way, with a dazzling new reproduction of the New York City skyline including the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Flatiron Building, Municipal Building, Plaza Hotel, South Street Seaport, and Hell Gate Bridge. Artist Paul Busse of Applied Imagination creates this annual display with all natural materials.

Holiday Reflections at Conservatory Plaza - November 24 - January 7

With a festive tree trimmed by designer Philip Baloun and the glorious backdrop of the Conservatory itself lit up as a holiday jewel, Holiday Reflections is an enchanting scene.
