Charlie Lieberman currently employs his visual and artistic skills as the Director of Photography for hit series, Heroes, on NBC. Through the past twelve years he has worked as the Director of Photography on such television series as My So-Called Life, Once and Again and Joan of Arcadia. This is Charlie's second show at Grace Ellay, following a very successful first exhibit. Artist statement: "The beginnings of the visually obsessive part of my life took place long ago in a mysterious land known as Chicago. I roamed the streets trying to see if I could capture images that had some aesthetic qualities. This show represents some of my early work that I still find compelling. This is the first time these photographs have been gathered together for exhibition."
Grace Ellay - gallery and boutique - is located in the heart of Silver Lake and prides itself on debuting local and national artists by providing a multi-tiered platform of exposure to an impressive array of industries, people and interests, accompanied by just the right amount of southern hospitality. Media represented include acrylic, oil, photography, mixed media and metal sculpture.
