Partnership with the Post Institute brings New Treatment for Behavior Disorders to Area

A free full day introductory seminar entitled Helping the Difficult Child: When Behavior Modification and Consequences DonÂ’t Work will be held on March 8 at the Embassy Suites Cleveland Rockside in Independence to honor the occasion.

The Post Institute founder, Bryan Post, PhD, LCSW, an internationally acclaimed attachment therapist and lecturer, will lead the seminar.

Family-Centered Regulatory Therapy helps children and families dealing with difficult behaviors such as lying, stealing, impulsiveness, and aggression that are often associated with Reactive Attachment Disorder, ADD, ADHD, ODD and trauma. It is particularly effective for adoptive, foster care and other non-traditional family units.

“We are excited to be able to offer this unique treatment approach developed by the Post Institute,” explained Kathy Krejcier, President of New Visions Unlimited. “Opening the Post Institute Ohio Clinic brings the excellence already offered in other parts of the country to Northeastern U. S.”

Anyone from administrators to therapists to parents interested in attending the free seminar should call 216-883-6700 to register. Attendance at this seminar meets the criteria for six hours of continuing education.

Upcoming trainings include Intensive Therapist Boot Camps, Intensive Parent and Family Boot Camps, and others. Those who canÂ’t attend the free seminar should call to be put on the mailing list. The Post Institute is also available for lectures, workshops and consultations.
