Jennifer Tuttle, elementary school teacher and CEO of Brain Party, Inc., is donating the gift of learning math through music to local children this holiday season. Tuttle is presenting 200 copies of her award winning math music CD to the annual Clinton Township Toys For Tots drive.
Tuttle created MathMosis Music after winning $200,000 to fund the project out of over 11,000 people in the Jake Steinfeld Live Your Dream contest.
“I have been so blessed in all of my endeavors. I am so excited to have this opportunity to give back to my community by donating my MathMosis Music CD to local families,” said Jennifer Tuttle, creator of the MathMosis program. “As a mother and teacher, I am happy to provide children with an educational gift that they will enjoy.”
The 17th Annual Toys for Tots Party, hosted by Angie Dale Morelli will be held at The Mirage Banquet Center at 16980 18 Mile in Clinton Township on Friday, December 3rd from 6 PM until Midnight. Morelli invites everyone to join in this charitable event. “Watching this party grow from 75 people into the largest privately sponsored single night Toys for Tots event in the country is a tribute to Macomb County’s generosity and their feelings for the United States Marine Corps.”
The cover charge is only $20.00 and, of course, a new un-wrapped toy. A reserved table for 10 people is $175.00. “This is an inexpensive evening for a night of excellent food and entertainment,” said Morelli. The entertainment is being donated by JD Entertainment and the Casali Holiday Dancers. A contingent of United States Marines in dress blues will be on hand with Santa Claus, of course.
“It’s very important, especially in this economy, that we come together for the holidays and give back to our community,” Tuttle said. “At Brain Party, Inc., we believe in supporting local efforts that help the children in our community.”
MathMosis is an innovative educational system that teaches children how to count by multiples through repetition by utilizing a variety of activities such as music, movement, drama, and visual number patterns. Children are also given strategies which aid in memorization and foster understanding of multiplication and division.
Teachers, parents and home school families all over the nation have reported strong results from using the MathMosis program and early advancement in mathematic knowledge.
“The MathMosis Music songs are awesome!" said elementary school teacher Marily Van Bael. "My students are having so much fun de-stressing with MathMosis Music at this crazy time of year."
It really is a fun way to help children become proficient in basic math skills at a very early age,” Tuttle said.
The MathMosis CD is available for only $19.95 and the MathMosis Mania Game and Charts is only $29.95. Both items are available on the Brain Party website at mathmosis. com or through major online retailers such as Amazon.
