Islamic Paths Adds Chat
(PRWEB) March 30, 2000
Islamic Paths web site, located at www. islamic-paths. org, has just added voice and text chat capabilities to its site. They are using the chat facilities provided by HearMe. com and are pleased with the support and capability of this system. This exciting feature allows visitors to Islamic Paths to speak to each other in real time or communicate through a text window.
"We are excited about this new facility at Islamic Paths and pray that all of our brothers and sisters in Islam will be able to chat to one another about their thoughts and experiences in Islam," said Raymond A. Klesc, webmaster to Islamic Paths. "We asked our visitors if they would be interested in having a chat room on this site and they overwhelmingly said yes," he added.
Islamic Paths was launched in February and has grown steadily ever since. The management at Islamic Paths is committed to updating the site weekly and it shows. The site has undergone many changes since it first launched, most noticeably in content. The number of pages since launching have nearly doubled. The latest update added a second complete English translation of the Holy Qur'an. This translation is by Dr. Muhammad Hilali in association with Dr. Kahn. All 114 chapters of the Holy Qur'an have been published on the site.
Islamic Paths is owned and operated by Muslim Executive and Expatriate a quarterly Newsletter published in Indonesia about Islam and the Islamic Community in Indonesia. The publication is but one of the charitable activities of the Rahmania Foundation which raises money for needy children and orphans education in Indonesia.
It should be noted that all advertising and affiliate revenue generated by the site is used to support these charitable activities.
