Physicians prescribe Sinus Dynamics treatments not only for chronic and acute rhinosinusitis patients; the company’s medications are also used extensively by Ear, Nose, and Throat, and Head and Neck Surgeons, both pre and post-operatively, in order to contain and control infection and inflammation for such procedures as endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS), polypectomies, turbinectomies, and for septoplasty cases. Our proprietary pharmaceutical formulas help prevent bacterial or fungal contamination of the surgical suite and reduce the risk of infection to the surgical team itself, most notably from Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Staph can colonize in patient’s sinuses though they are asymptomatic, which is the case in 20-30% of the population. By minimizing exposure to airborne bacterial pathogens or fungal spores that may emanate from the patient’s upper respiratory mucosa during sinus surgery, our proprietary pharmaceutical formulas also alleviate inflammation, reduce bleeding and overcome infection before and after surgery, thereby improving patient recovery times.

Sinus Dynamics is located in Westlake Village, CA. and is a division of General Home Pharmacy, Inc. The company works with otolaryngologists, allergy & immunology and primary care physicians, infectious disease specialists, and pulmonary physicians from throughout the United States in the custom compounding of medications exclusively formulated to treat upper respiratory infection and inflammation through topical treatment. Educational representatives are available for on-site demonstrations.
