Andrew A. Smith has been writing his entire career, most of it in the television business. An Emmy award-winning sportscaster since 1992, he has been on the air all around the country. Mr. Smith started at KSTU, a Fox affiliate in Salt Lake City, where he anchored a weekly sports show, as well as freelanced for ESPNÂ’s Scholastic Sports America. From there he moved to Sports Director at KVBC in Las Vegas, where he was twice named Nevada Sportscaster of the Year.
Mr. Smith has currently been the Sports Director for WLUK in Green Bay since 1999, anchoring the sports segment and hosting a variety of Packers programming, including Inside the Pack with Donald Driver, which is syndicated to five states, and with whom he serves on the board of the Donald Driver Foundation, helping homeless single mothers. He also works as a football sideline reporter for Fox Sports for select games each year. Known as Drew Smith on television, Andrew Smith also has extensive experience writing columns for periodicals, and is a regular on the radio, both locally and nationally. Mr. Smith earned a B. A. in Broadcast Communications from Brigham Young University in 1993.
