Comcourse Launches Exit Exam Site

Comcourse Launches Exit Exam Site

ExitExamHelp site provides free online help for students in the 20 states which administer high school exit exams

Santa Cruz, CA (PRWEB) November 9, 2006

Comcourse Inc., a leader in distance education, has launched a revolutionary new website called ExitExamHelp. Located at http://www. exitexamhelp. com, the site will provide free online test preparation for students who reside in states that require a standardized test to graduate from high school.

Currently, exit exams are required for graduation in the following states: Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and Virginia. The initial course implementation will be for the CAHSEE, with other states following shortly thereafter.

CEO James Chellis explains, "With many states shifting to the model of exit exam testing for high school graduation, we saw a need to build ExitExamHelp to help students succeed on the exam. Considering our past successes in student test preparation, and with so many students struggling through the exam, ExitExamHelp just made sense."

Comcourse has been involved in distance education for over nine years, developing online courses at both high school and college levels. Comcourse technology and content currently power many institutions, such as the medical billing programs of Central Florida College, at http://www. centralfloridacollege. com. In addition, Comcourse has launched a free online GED course that has enjoyed tremendous success.

ExitExamHelp will launch with specially targeted material for Alaska (the EED), California (the CAHSEE ), Indiana (the ISTEP+), Nevada (the HSPE), North Carolina (the EOC), South Carolina (the HSAP), and Utah (the UBSCT) as well as any other state with a high school exit exam. Special attention is provided the math section, and several high school exit exam pre tests are provided. Customized material for the remaining states is currently in development and is planned to roll-out soon to meet the needs of graduating high school seniors.
