Shoemaker's book, A Divine Revelation of the Glory of God, shows that God guides and directs those who diligently seek His will for their lives. She writes that many people do not believe in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Moreover, "some have been led astray in their religious beliefs that the Holy Spirit, along with the manifestations of God's Glory, was meant only for the time when the Bible was being written, for that period before and during Christ's earthly life. However," she writes, "I am here today as a living sacrifice and witness in this true story to tell you that God's Glory reigns in each and every Christian."
Rev. Dr. Faith M. Shoemaker, 52, is a vocational education teacher in the Texas Prison System through Windham School District, and a volunteer facilitator and chaplain at "Bridges to Life," a prison ministry dedicated to restoring offenders and victims of violent crimes. She is an active member of her Christian community, where she has taught hymns in sign language and has sang in a church choir. She has conducted church services at a local nursing home.
