Digital Projection Adds Service Coordinator to Customer Support Team
Odom will work with both the Technical and Customer Service Managers to assure timely completion of all service orders. In addition, Odom will manage communication between the DPI technical group and the integrator/dealer placing the support request. This is an important link with respect to setting and meeting service support timelines, as well as expediting the return of equipment sent to DPI for service.
Kennesaw, GA (Vocus) March 31, 2010
Digital Projection Inc. (DPI) (http://www. digitalprojection. com), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high performance projection systems, recently announced the appointment of Kristina Odom as service coordinator. As service coordinator, Odom will assist in the organization and execution of all technical service and support related aspects of Digital Projection’s North America headquarters. Odom has already begun working with DPI’s extensive dealer network. Odom’s new role means DPI’s customers and dealer network will experience consistent updates and communication relating to service requests.
With her extensive customer support and project management experience, Odom adds a key link in the line of communication between DPI’s dealers and technical support team. Primarily, Odom will work with both the Technical and Customer Service Managers to assure timely completion of all service orders. In addition, Odom will manage communication between the DPI technical group and the integrator/dealer placing the support request. This is an important link with respect to setting and meeting service support time lines, as well as expediting the return of equipment sent to DPI for service.
Odom will also assist the Technical Service Manager in the scheduling and coordination of field repair and support requests. As inventory and service go hand in hand, the support coordinator will also provide insight into the review and determination of appropriate spare parts inventory levels. One coordination point allows for the cohesive management of service request scheduling, processing repair evaluations and estimates.
Mike Akridge, VP of Operations for Digital Projection Inc., commented, “Kristina is a great addition to DPI’s already robust customer and technical service teams. DPI’s dealers now have a dedicated contact for all service-related status updates, which we feel is integral in delivering the best support experience possible.”
Odom remarked, “Everyone gets to write their own story in life. I’m glad I’m able to include the Digital Projection team in mine. There couldn’t be a better group of people to know and work with.”
Kristina Odom can be reached at 770-420-1350 or kodom(at)digitalprojection(dot)com from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm EST.
