Ellis University Appoints New President and Expands to New Colorado Site
Instutution catering to fast-growth segments of the economy appoints new president to lead high-value online degree and certificate programs.

Ellis University, a provider of high-value online education programs, has announced the appointment of a new president and expansion to a larger site in Colorado.
Effective immediately, Kim Dority, an accomplished veteran of the online education industry, is appointed President, Ellis University. Prior to this appointment, she led the creation of the first virtual library for online students. Also, as head of Dority & Associates she provided information and strategy consulting services to businesses and organizations in the non-profit and online learning fields. Previously, she led the University of Denver graduate program in library and information science on an interim basis, and still serves as adjunct faculty at the University. She is also the author of the forthcoming book, “Rethinking Information Work.”
Dr. Richard W. In addition, Ellis University is expanding to a new office in Colorado. This new site provides capacity for the institution to expand in a region noted as a center for innovation in online education.
