San Francisco, CA (Vocus) June 30, 2010
Kevin Dunn, Trustnode co-founder, today announced the take-up results of Trustnode’s initial client experience. Trustnode is the creator of an online, interactive benefits education and enrollment platform for those involved in the provision and sale of voluntary group insurance products.
Trustnode’s initial client experience involved an offering of short-term disability insurance underwritten by a large multi-line insurance carrier. The benefit was introduced to the 9,000+ employees of a retailer with 330 locations throughout the U. S. The company reported a to-date take-up rate of 47%, since installation of the Trustnode platform during a re-enrollment period begun in April, versus the company’s previous take-up rate of 11% using traditional education and enrollment tools.
“We are thrilled by the results obtained by The Potters and Friends™ in the workplace,” stated Kevin. “These results validate our cognitive science-based approach to engaging and educating employees about voluntary insurance benefits, which can be complex and often difficult to grasp. Importantly -- in our information overloaded environment – these results also demonstrate the power of an alternative to non-interactive, non-personalized, words-only communication to effectively cut through the information bombardment,” he concluded.
