TRG Launches Free Educational “How-to” Videos for Customs Bond Applicants

TRG Launches Free Educational “How-to” Videos for Customs Bond Applicants

TRG released a new set of “how-to” videos for U. S. importers. The videos range from 2-6 minutes and walk first time and experienced Customs bond applicants through obtaining a continuous bond. The educational series is free and available on most social networking sites.

Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) March 31, 2010

U. S. Customs bonds are a government mandated product. Like all types of surety bonds, Customs bonds are available for purchase through either a Surety or a third party such as a Customs broker. TRG, a direct provider of Customs bonds, is now providing first time and experienced importers with “how-to” videos on obtaining a bond.

TRG’s website advertises a user friendly online application with a step by step guide to completion. The video series was launched by the company in an effort to further streamline the process. Any application, whether it be required by a broker or an insurance company, will require specific import related information. TRG hopes the video series will help to clarify any questions on why any of the information is needed. https://traderiskguaranty. com/BondLanding. aspx (https://traderiskguaranty. com/BondLanding. aspx)

TRG’s first video on applying for a U. S. Customs bond, covers general questions, such as “how to determine the type of bond needed” and “how to determine the size of the bond needed”. Although the videos are not currently interactive, viewers can participate step-by-step using multiple web-browsers.

The how-to videos now available include:
¡ How to apply for a U. S. Customs Import bond.
¡ How to become a custodian of bonded merchandise and obtain an Activity Code 2 bond.
¡ How to apply to become an International Carrier and obtain an Activity Code 3 bond.

The next in the Customs bond how-to video series will be:

¡ How to obtain a Foreign Trade Zone Operator bond.
¡ How to file for a Customs Drawback bond.

“This is another great way for TRG to be effective in educating. As social media and online resource navigating become part of most everyone’s daily routine, TRG will be first out of the gate in education for importers. Our YouTube channel has become our main tool for our “how-to” messages,” discussed Jena Leary, Marketing Director. http://www. youtube. com/user/TRGDirect (http://www. youtube. com/user/TRGDirect)
