Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) August 1, 2008

From August 11-15, 2008, Full Sail University (http://www. fullsail. edu (http://www. fullsail. edu)) will co-present game design classes from 9 AM-4:15 PM for students in grades seven through nine at the Orlando Science Center (OSC) as part of their School Break Camps Program.

Children interested in game design are encouraged to enroll in the program which allows them to explore the world of computer games in a fun, entertaining environment. Full Sail University instructors will educate each student on how to create their own game with characters and graphics of their choice. Students will be broken down into teams to build their unique game which will be presented as their final project on the Full Sail University campus on August 15 in the Entertainment Business Auditorium.

"I teach fun!" said Steve VanZandt, Course Director for the Game Development Program at Full Sail. "Watching the imagination of each child translated into a game that can be played and presented is a rewarding and memorable experience. Being a participant in the game design class gives the children a chance to get a taste of what it is really like to be a mastermind behind the games they love to play."

Parents who would like to obtain more information on the game design class can contact OSC at 407-514-2112 or they can register their child online by visiting http://www. osc. org (http://www. osc. org). Discounts are available to OSC members.
