Art Historian and Master Painter Diane Kelsey Parker launches her new Website and Online Gallery. The website features her credentials, experience, exhibits, and awards earned. Diane has had exhibits in New York, California, Texas, and Europe. She received a BS in Art Education and a Masters in Painting.
Diane also studied painting and drawing at Instituto de Allende; San Miguel, Mexico. After traveling the world and curating numerous art shows and contest Diane has settled down in Central Texas. She says "Art can be personal or intellectual expressions manifested visually or verbally but for me, art must contain the element of passion. If the heart isn't shared in the work, why do it?
Additionally, art should have a message and be of substance. There is beauty even in the pain of life. The strong colors I use in my pieces represent various aspects: red is life's passion, yellow is hope and blue reflects the calmness needed to rest the soul. Maybe one day I'll put pastel hues on my pallet but for now strong, pure colors express the zing and sting of life!"
