Enigmatis, along with Navaho Technologies and Broadcast Network, has launched lately ‘Navaho CAT Servers’ for the Middle East Market. The launch was marked by a two-day event in Dubai Internet City where enigmatis is based.
The Navaho CAT Server, recent winner of the Linux Format Magazine ‘Top Stuff’ Award, is a Linux-based appliance that handles email, anti-spam, virus filtering, firewalling and VPN. The server appliance comes from Navaho Technologies U. K., which has been producing hardware solutions for almost nine years. The CAT series, which stands for Complete Appliance Technology, comes in a range of three products. Each CAT model offers its own level of software capability, culminating in the TeamCAT, which is practically a plug-and-play all-in-one appliance box, including a file server, proxy server, fax server, bandwidth manager and a groupware server.
