Carrboro, NC (PRWEB) May 19, 2005

Isoph, e-learning success partner to membership organizations and nonprofits, today announced that the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association, has launched an online course based on the popular Test-Taking Techniques Review and Resource Manual that has helped so many nurses improve their certification examination scores. IsophÂ’s expert course development team worked with the ANCC to convert the manual into an online format, and the course is hosted in the Isoph Blue learning community system.

“This material has helped hundreds of nurses improve their test-taking skills,” said Joanne Evans, RN, MEd., CS, the ANCC’s education program specialist. “By offering it online, we will be able to reach hundreds—perhaps even thousands—more nurses and help them more fully master knowledge that is essential to nursing certification.”

“This is yet another case where e-learning makes a great deal of sense,” said Isoph CEO Jeff Cobb. “Like so many organizations that serve a large group of stakeholders the ANCC needed to be able to distribute important learning content in a timely, easily accessible fashion. Isoph provides the skills and the software for them to do just that.”

The new course is available for a limited time, from May 6 through May 24, 2005, just in time to help nurses prepare for upcoming certification exams.

Key features include:

•Mental, physical, and academic exam preparation strategies

•Review of more than a dozen critical test-taking skills

•50 practice questions related to the nursing field, each with detailed feedback to indicate the test-taking skills best applied to answer the question properly

•The ability to take practice questions over and over again, with real-time feedback for every response
