Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel will host the Celebrity Chef Tour on October 21st. The proceeds of this Baltimore restaurant special event will benefit The James Beard Foundation.

The James Beard Foundation's Celebrity Chef Tour arrives at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel restaurant on October 21, 2010 where some of the nation's top culinary talents will create a fantastic multi-course dinner to be paired with premium wines, beers and spirits.

This not-to-be-missed Baltimore harbor dining experience for food lovers will take place in the Baltimore harbor hotel's restaurant, WATERTABLE, at 7:00 p. m. Tickets, priced at $140 per person inclusive, go on sale September 23, 2010 (or $120 for Visa Signature® card members, on sale September 20, 2010). All proceeds from this Baltimore dining special will benefit The James Beard Foundation’s programming and educational initiatives.

The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace's Executive Chef Sean Curry plays host to a roster of star chefs to present a stellar Baltimore dining experience. The celebrity chefs for the evening will be:
 Marc Murphy, Executive Chef and Owner of BenchMarc Restaurants in NYC, who also frequently appears as a guest judge on the Food Network's hit shows "Chopped" and "Iron Chef America"  Jennifer Carroll, the celebrated chef de cuisine of 10 Arts Bistro & Lounge by Eric Ripert in Philadelphia, and season six "Top Chef" finalist  Marc Anthony Bynum, Executive Chef of Venue 56 in Hauppauge, NY, and a "Chopped" winner who is now competing on "Chopped Champions" and,  Amanda Cook, who was nominated this past year for both a James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef in the US and a Rammy from the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington. A native of the Washington, D. C., area, Amanda has worked for some of the most esteemed chefs in the nation's capital including Roberto Donna at Galileo, Michel Richard at Citronelle and Eric Ziebold at Cityzen.

The Celebrity Chef Tour began in 2004 as a way to bring the unique experience of dining at New York City’s historic James Beard House to cities around the country, and offers diners the opportunity to interact with the participating chefs while enjoying their innovative cuisine.
