San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 27, 2009
Premise Immersive Marketing (http://www. premisemarketing. com) has teamed up with the National Military Family Association's Operation Purple® Program (http://www. nmfa. org/site/PageServer? pagename=op_default) for the second year with the goal of providing enriching week-long camp programs to military children in Japan, Turkey, Germany, Guam, and Spain.
Premise leveraged their expertise in developing programs that have a positive impact on youth, to create the series of skateboard camps. Based on the Operation Purple curriculum, the specialized program works to empower kids and provide mentorship during stressful times by engaging the kids, ages 7-17, in high-energy lessons on skateboarding skill, style and discipline. Seasoned athletes provide instruction and promote a positive attitude both inside and outside the skatepark.
According to the Operation Purple camp website, "The program helps military kids experience care-free fun while learning coping skills to deal with war-related stress and fostering relationships with other kids in similar situations."
In its 5th successful year of operation, the skateboard camp program provides a fun and safe addition to the summer activity schedule for our nation's youngest heroes.
"At Premise we are all about marketing and educational programs that build positive connections between organizations and young people, the National Military Family Association's Operation Purple camp provides essential opportunities that inspire youth. I'm proud to be a part of it on both a business and personal level." Said Gregg Witt, founding partner at Premise Immersive Marketing.
