Full Sail Participates in 2004 Sundance Filmmakers Lab
Instructors and graduates from Full Sai's Film Degree Program have been invited to partiticpate in the prestigious Sundance Filmmakers lab in Park City, Utah.

Full Sail Real World Education has once again been invited to participate with the Sundance Filmmakers Laboratories, being held in Park City, Utah this summer. For the past three years, teaching staff and alumni from Full SailÂ’s Film Program have been selected to provide their skills at the annual Sundance Filmmakers Lab. This yearÂ’s event is scheduled to take place from May 25 to June 24.
Participants from Full Sail include Film instructors Clark Harris, Jonathan Kosik, and Jefe Seebach, as well as Film alumni Ryan Funk, Byron Wilson, and Akilah Owens. During the Filmmakers Lab the group will be working closely with eight up and coming directors as part of a month-long mentoring process. These labs offer the directors seasoned production crews, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with professional actors such as Sally Field, Ed Harris, and Robert Redford.
“Sundance is one of the premiere film organizations in the world,” says Dave Franko, Full Sail’s Program Director for Film. “It’s an honor for our staff and alumni to be handpicked by the Sundance community to participate in this event, and it’s also a great opportunity for them to work in an environment that is strongly supportive of independent filmmaking.”
The Full Sail group will work a variety of positions during the Filmmakers Lab, as they help first-time directors on productions of their own original screenplays. Through this hands-on process and the guidance of experienced filmmakers, both the directors and crew are able to grow creatively in an atmosphere where experimentation is encouraged.
