Captains of Industry® Wins Alteris Renewables Account, so Ted Page Doesn't Have to Eat His Shorts

Agency principal who vowed to eat his shorts on YouTube if his agency did not win a solar account announces success in new video.

Boston (PRWEB) September 18, 2009

Captains of Industry, a marketing and filmmaking company with a roster of renewable energy accounts, today announced that it had landed the business for Alteris Renewables Inc., Norton, Mass., a leader in residential and commercial solar installations in the Northeast and a pioneer in wind energy for commercial applications. Agency Principal and Creative Director Ted Page, who vowed on March 23rd, 2009 to eat his shorts on camera if his agency did not land a solar account in 2009, expressed relief. "In our latest video," said Page, "we did in fact grill the shorts (at the advice of my doctor in the last video), and they smelled awful even after soaking in the marinade. We're really looking forward to helping Alteris grow their business. They're a wonderful company and we need a lot more use of solar and wind energy in the Northeast."

"We were impressed by Captains of Industry's experience in renewable energy communications," said Bill Kanzer, Alteris' Director of Marketing. "And you have to respect the level of passion for renewable energy that goes into a public commitment to eat your shorts on camera. It was very creative, and that's a big part of what we were looking for in a marketing partner."

Captains of Industry is currently developing a range of marketing materials for Alteris, from a website and video to a print literature system. The account win adds to Captains of Industry's roster of renewable energy accounts that include First Wind and Deepwater Wind. "Our goal in renewable energy marketing," stated agency principal Fred Surr, "is to help each client become number one in their sector. We believe Alteris has the potential to be the number one brand in renewables in the Northeast, and we're going to help make that happen."
