Island Harvest, Long Island’s Source Authority on Food Rescue, is once again hosting its annual Left Field Terrace fundraising event at Shea Stadium on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 5:40 p. m. Island Harvest has reserved the left field terrace at Shea Stadium for the upcoming New York Mets versus Washington Nationals baseball game. TheCelebrityCafe. com, Long Island’s longest running entertainment Web Site, has teamed up with Island Harvest as media sponsor of the event.

Players from the New York Mets will visit the guests and sign autographs. The event will also feature an open buffet, unlimited beverages, popcorn and cotton candy. A silent auction will be held and raffles will be drawn throughout the evening. Reservations are required; tickets are $110 per person. Limited tickets are available.
