Company plans to showcase wide array of faith-based programming and products at CBA-sponsored convention in Colorado.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 30, 2005
Emmy Award-winning producer Drew S. Levin's TMC Entertainment announced today that as part of it's faith-based programming initiative, the company will be attending the 2005 International Christian Retail Show, sponsored by the Christian Bookseller's Association, held in Denver, Colorado July 10-14. The company will be showcasing a wide array of products and programming at the convention, including products surrounding the upcoming PBS miniseries "Walking the Bible" and those being offered in conjunction with partners Rose Publishing and Holy Land Tours.
Attendance at the International Christian Retail Show is a natural progression in the company's faith-based initiative, which also encompasses a full slate of religious-themed television programming currently in production and preproduction. At the conference, TMC plans to showcase products and services ancillary to the company's upcoming PBS primetime miniseries, "Walking the Bible: A Journey by Land Through the Five Books of Moses" (Fall, 2005) and "Abraham: A Journey to the Heart of Three Faiths" (Winter, 2006), in addition to products being produced through TMC's two major partnerships: one with leading travel provider, Holy Land Tours; the other with Rose Publishing, a specialty publisher of biblical materials.
TMC's team attending the convention will include Chairman and CEO, Emmy Award-winning producer Drew S. Levin ("Future Quest," "Cosmos: A Special Edition"), Paul Siegel, EVP, Sales and Marketing ("Fame," "Family Feud," "Strawberry Shortcake" and "Inspector Gadget"), Raymond Bell, Director of Educational and Retail Marketing (Peter Max, Inc.), and Richard Klinger, Director of Religious Marketing (formerly President, King World Home Video; Executive Coordinator, Hanna-Barbera's "Greatest Adventures: Stories From the Bible").
"TMC Entertainment is proud to showcase all of our religious-themed programming and merchandise at this conference, including products that have come out of our partnerships with such respected organizations as Holy Land Tours and Rose Publishing," said Drew S. Levin, Chairman and CEO. "Additionally, we look forward to offering a preview of our PBS miniseries 'Walking the Bible,' as well as all of the merchandise surrounding it, from interactive maps and coffee table books to group study packs and inspirational music," added Levin.
TMC Entertainment's booth at the International Christian Retail Show 2005 will be located at booth 6065 in the Colorado Convention Center. For additional information on "Walking the Bible" or sponsorship opportunities, please visit www. walkingthebibletv. com.
