Home of the worldÂs largest Media 100 training facility and the only one of its kind in the Midwest, Northern created the MMDC program to prepare serious 3-D animators and video effects artists to enter the job market upon graduation. The program offers fast-paced, hands-on training with software and hardware that set the standard in the post-production industry. Each student has his or her own workstation and 24-hour access to the MMDC facility for convenience in working on individual projects.
The fast track curriculum requires students to commit themselves to a focused and demanding learning environment that simulates real world intensity and time frames that clients and employers look for. Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to enter the entertainment industry in areas such as post-production houses, movie studios, advertising agencies, television stations, news stations and many other related animation facilities.
Northern tuition fees apply to all courses. Individual students may qualify for financial assistance through federal loans or grants available through the college Office of Financial Aid.
