Humantech, Inc., a leading human performance consulting firm, is pleased to announce the addition of three new employees  Mike Gladden, Kent Hatcher, and Sarah St. Pierre  to its talented team of professionals.
Mike Gladden brings over twenty years experience in the automotive and manufacturing industries to his new role as consultant and ergonomics engineer. Gladden most recently was the senior manager of Lean Warehousing Implantation for the MOPAR division of DiamlerChrysler. While with DiamlerChrysler he was also responsible for implementing lean manufacturing techniques at the Toledo Assembly Complex and managed ergonomics for the Jeep platform. He has also held similar positions at Toyota, Xerox and General Motors. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering, a Masters of Science in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Michigan, and a Doctorate of Education in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky. Mike has achieved recognition as a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist.
Prior to joining Humantech, Kent Hatcher founded his own ergonomics consulting practice in British Columbia, Canada. Hatcher specializes in promoting a macro-ergonomic philosophy of system efficiency  showing companies how to smoothly integrate ergonomics and human factors into production operations. As a consultant and ergonomics engineer he will perform ergonomic risk assessments and engineering reviews as well as facilitating group training sessions. Hatcher received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada and his Master of Science in Ergonomics from Loughborough University in Loughborough, United Kingdom. Kent has achieved recognition as a Board Certified Associate Ergonomics Professional.
Sarah St. Pierre joins Humantech in the role of associate consultant and ergonomics engineer bringing experience in ergonomic risk assessments, medical management, and employee return to work programs. St. Pierre worked as a Safety Engineer at Honda of America Manufacturing and completed an internship at General Electric Power Systems. She will perform on-site data collection and ergonomic assessments, redesign workspaces, and write reports. She received her Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from the University of Detroit Mercy, and a Master of Science in Human Kinetics, with a special interest in ergonomics, from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
