Govplace's Ryan McCullough Named a "Rising Star"

McCullough's performance-based approach to contracting is honored with 1105 Media's Rising Star award.

Irvine, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2009

Govplace, provider of enterprise IT solutions for the public sector, announces Ryan McCullough, Vice President of it's Federal Division, as a recent honoree of 1105 Media's Rising Star award. 1105 Media, publisher of Federal Computer Week, GCN and Washington Technology, instituted the award four years ago. As stated by 1105 Media on their website, "the Rising Star Awards program honors up-and-coming men and women who have made an early -- and substantive -- mark in the government IT world."

McCullough created a solution delivery methodology founded in a performance-based approach, which closely aligns a contractor's measures of success with an agency's objectives. Govplace leverages this approach to ensure their customer's needs are fully met by accepting accountability for measurable results for both a successful implementation and the ability to meet the program objectives.

According to 1105 Media, supervisors or co-workers nominate individuals for the Rising Star award, and an independent panel of judges chooses the winners. This year's judges, recognized leaders in the community, made their selections from more than 160 nominations. McCullough, along with 27 other winners, will be honored at the GCN Awards Gala on October 22, 2009.
