Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) September 21, 2005
On October 1, 2005 Â The Post Adoption Center for Education and Research (PACER) will host three Sacramento area locations for the 11th annual RegDay event. RegDay is an annual public service event to increase public awareness of the International Soundex Reunion Registry; a free humanitarian service better known as ISRR. Now in its 30th year, ISRR is a non-profit mutual consent registry dedicated to reuniting adult family members separated by adoption, divorce or other dislocation.
An estimated 1 in 10 Americans are adopted. At least as many more are part of an adoptive family, or relinquished a child to adoption. Many of those touched by adoption have questions, or are searching for information.
Volunteers will be available to answer questions, help with the registration forms and provide referrals to local adoption related resources. Information about support groups, adoption laws, websites, book lists and search information will also be available.
RegDay will be held at the following three Sacramento area Borders Book stores from 10:00 a. m. until 6:00 p. m.:
Natomas  4750 Natomas Blvd, Sacramento
Sacramento  2339 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento
Folsom  2765 E Bidwell St, Folsom
