As part of a continued relationship with The Edcomm Group, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has taken delivery of one of four critical on-line learning courses directed at educating their entire employee population.
The Bank Supervision Group of The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is committed to excellence in their work in keeping the FedÂ’s member banks in regulatory compliance. In doing so, it is important that those who provide support to this Group be knowledgeable in the process and procedures of Bank Supervision.
The Edcomm Group wrote and developed this program in close coordination with the existing polices and procedures of the Federal Reserve Bank as a web-based (distance learning) training tool. The Bank's employees are able to pace their development between modules and among programs according to their other business obligations. This program is a model for on-line education in both form and function, having been specifically created by Edcomm web designers and staff trainers.
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks, which, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D. C., make up the Federal Reserve System.
