Parsippany NJ - (December 5, 2001) Setfocus announces Internship program

SetFocus, a Technology Training Center, specializing in the education of developers in JAVA, Visual Basic and. NET, has just announced an enhanced feature to their already intensive MasterÂ’s Program.

In addition to the in depth training students receive; Setfocus will now couple this with a three month internship program that will bring additional development experience to the graduates.

SetFocus has partnered with a number of its clients to offer their graduates an opportunity to gain additional project experience requiring expertise in JAVA, Visual Basic, ASP, SQL Server, and other development environments necessary to build rich n-tier internet-based applications. This makes an already incredible learning experience even more robust. Graduates will now enter the market place with six months of solid experience covering of almost 1300 hours and over 15,000 lines of code.

“This is total win-win proposition. Both SetFocus graduates and Internship Partners will benefit significantly from this program and it emphasizes our strong commitment to a quality program. The marketplace now recognizes that a SetFocus Alumni is an asset to their organization”, said Mike Landau President & CEO of SetFocus.

The training at Setfocus challenges all, and is believed by many industry experts to be the most in-depth, intense, integrated and comprehensive training solution available in the marketplace today. With their internship partners, SetFocus can provide a solid work experience that is consistent with the graduates skill set. Internship partners, benefit from access to very low cost high quality resources that can help them with existing external and internal projects.

All Masters Program participants are required to pass an extensive technical exam and interviews to assure they possess the abilities to complete the 13 weeks of knowledge transfer they are presented with. SetFocus receives from 1500-2000 applications to the program each quarter and selects no more than 20 individuals per track.

Both the Java and the Visual Basic/.NET curriculums are designed to challenge every student. Intense lectures combined with in depth lab exercises focus on n-tier applications with special emphasis on web development.
