Arbita Grows More than 600 Percent in first half of 2009

Acquisitions, Partnerships, New Products and Services and New Staff Drive Record Performance

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 23, 2009

Arbita, a provider of recruitment marketing technology (http://www. arbita. net/Solutions/OnePost-Job-Posting-Solution. html), media and services, grew more than 600% during the first half of 2009 according to Jennifer Marcy, the company's General Manager.

"Over the last six months, we have onboarded more new customers than during any other period in Arbita's history," said Ms. Marcy. "To have achieved this milestone against strong economic headwinds is humbling and serves as testament to the dedication of our amazing customers." Company officials attributed Arbita's unprecedented growth to recent acquisitions and partnerships, several new products and services and the hiring of key personnel.

During the first half of 2009, Arbita welcomed 652 new customers at an average rate of more than 3 new customers per day. These new customers are predominantly users of OnePost, the company's industry-leading job posting software (http://www. arbita. net/Solutions/OnePost-Job-Posting-Solution. html). Many have also purchased a wide range of new recruitment marketing products and services introduced over the past 9 months. In addition to these new customers, several thousand recruitment professionals have paid to attend seminars, webinars and workshops or have purchased other learning products from Arbita Consulting and Educations Services (ACES), the company's recruitment services group. Don Ramer, the company's Founder and CEO, expects many of these first-time purchasers to convert to long-term customers during the second half of 2009.

"Arbita ACES was made possible in large part by our acquisition of JobMachine through the merger in 2008," said Mr. Ramer. "The JobMachine acquisition connected us with tens of thousands of recruiting professionals who have purchased workshops, consulting, professional development or other products developed by Shally Steckerl and Glenn Gutmacher. We have formed and cemented enduring customer relationships with a significant number of these recruiting professionals and we expect this community to remain a fertile source of new customer relationships for years to come." Mr. Ramer also credited new partnerships, the introduction of several new products and services, and the hiring of key executives with the company's explosive growth in 2009.

In 2009, Arbita introduced several new products and services that contributed to the company's growth. For example, Arbita OneWorld is a comprehensive bundle of recruitment marketing technology (http://www. arbita. net/Solutions/OnePost-Job-Posting-Solution. html) and services with straightforward pricing and free job posting software (http://www. arbita. net/Solutions/OnePost-Job-Posting-Solution. html). The bundle includes recruitment marketing analytics, career web site development, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, recruiter and sourcer development, and the industry's premier job posting solution. Arbita OneSource is a powerful sourcing platform (http://www. arbita. net/Solutions/Arbita-OneSource. html) that accelerates Internet candidate research by allowing recruiters to extract resumes, candidate profiles and contact information from major search engines like Google, Yahoo, Alltheweb, AltaVista
And Microsoft Live.

Arbita OneSource is the product of a technology and services collaboration with Broadlook Technologies. In addition to the Broadlook relationship, Arbita inked partnerships with several other organizations including MrTed, SmartRecruiters and The Future of Talent Institute. George LaRocque, Arbita's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, believes these partnerships are a key component of the company's growth. "There is no question that our strategic partnerships have greatly increased the value we're able to deliver to customers," said Mr. LaRocque. "And our relationships with top brands like MrTed, SmartRecruiters, Broadlook and The Future of Talent Institute have expanded our reach in the recruitment community and cemented our position as the most cooperative and connected company in the community."

Mr. LaRocque joined Arbita in late 2008 as part of an executive dream team formed to capitalize on the company's longstanding position as an industry innovator and leader. The bolstered executive team includes Shally Steckerl who joined the company as Executive Vice President and Glenn Gutmacher who joined as Vice President of Arbita Consulting and Education. Additionally, Ms. Marcy was promoted to General Manager during the fourth quarter of 2008, Romuald Restout was hired as Vice President of Product Development during the first quarter of 2009 and Nicole Bodem joined the company as Director of Search Engine Marketing.

Mr. Ramer believes that the experience and passion of the expanded team has been the primary catalyst for Arbita's growth. "We have achieved new heights during one of the worst economic periods in history," said Mr. Ramer. "Clearly this could not have been achieved without the enthusiasm, generosity, patience and wisdom exhibited by each and every Arbita team member. We are compelled by the belief that every client deserves a partner with their best interests at heart. We have stayed true to our customers' interests and they have rewarded us generously."
