About the Authors
Stephanie Ash is a Canadian-born mother of two beautiful children, Abbey and Brad. She is a Board Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist in practice for fourteen years. As her children have grown up, Dr. Ash has taken an active role in their education. Diary of a Crayon(Red Gets Lost) is the second book of the Diary of a Crayon series. The book series came to life one day after her ten-year-old daughter Abbey came home from school and announced that she had to write a story. She decided that it would be the "Diary of a Crayon". Dr. Ash’s immediate reaction was that it was going to be a very long night. Rather, it proved to be a truly magical, memorable evening working with her daughter and watching her excitement grow as “Red Crayon” struggled with his identity and eventually discovered his importance and acceptance in the world.
Abbey Lauren Ash Behan is a ten-year-old girl from Michigan, who is enjoying fifth grade at Hughes Elementary. She has two turtles, a dog named Teddy, and two fish. She loves to read, write poems and stories, dance, and tease her older brother Brad.
