HBSA Experiences Shocking Growth Despite Recession

The Home Business Success Academy has experienced surprising growth rates amid the global economic turn-down. CEO Martin Lightbowne attributes the surge in business to growing consumer awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship.

In spite of global economic turndown, the Home Business Success Academy (HBSA) has experienced record-breaking growth month after month.

Martin Lightbowne, co-founder and CEO of http://www. hbsaonline. com (http://www. hbsaonline. com), has been in the direct marketing industry for over eight years, and has never seen such outstanding growth.

"Whenever the recession began," says Mr. Lightbowne, "we didn't know what to expect. We figured the common byline that "every business will be negatively affected" would hold true for us. But it simply hasn't - in fact, we've seen the opposite take place."

Experts agree that the recession generally began in December of 2007. Since then, the HBSA has seen a steady growth at the rate of 15% - 20% per month.

Mr. Lightbowne feels that much of this growth can be attributed to a consumer re-awakening of the entrepreneurial spirit.

"The average person is seeing that it's unwise to put their future in the hands of an employer that will lay them off at the first sign of a downturn. Many of our students have decided to take control of their life and get the skills to develop their own businesses on their own terms."

Martin Lightbowne has been the CEO of the Home Business Success Academy since it's inception, and aims to develop it into a central authority on entrepreneurship and direct-response marketing education.
