University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine Professors Release Results of IRB-Approved Retrospective Study on Hormones at November Age Management Conference
Researchers reveal interesting findings from phase one of joint study, conducted with Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF).

 The Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG), a medical conferenceÂmanagement organization presenting CME-accredited events, announced that recognized professors from the University of Miami  Miller School of Medicine will release results from phase one of a three-phase retrospective study on hormones at the November 2007 Age Management Medicine Conference and Exposition. The four-day conference runs from November 8-11 at the Red Rock Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Researchers from the University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine partnered with the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) to conduct the IRB-approved retrospective review study. Two respected professors from the university, Enrique Ginzburg, MD, FACS, and Nancy Klimas, MD, will present phase one of the study, entitled ÂTestosterone and Growth Hormone Normalization: A Retrospective Study of Health Outcomes, at the November conference.
ÂThe findings of phase one were extremely interesting, Dr. Ginzburg said. Extensively published, Dr. Ginzburg is a professor of surgery at the University of Miami - Miller School of MedicineÂs Divisions of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care, medical director at the International Health Center, co-director at the Neuroscience Intensive Care, in addition to holding several secondary appointments.
Dr. Nancy KlimasÂa recognized leader, championing research in chronic fatigue syndromeÂis professor of medicine, psychology, microbiology and immunology at the University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine and the Miami VA Medical Center.
During their presentation, Drs. Ginzburg and Klimas will discuss research results of an effective program of hormone modulation for men and women, low-glycemic nutrition and exercise instruction on select outcomes indicative of disease risk and the subjective impression of quality of life in a private practice.
The November 2007 Age Management Medicine Conference and Exposition offers 28 AMA PRA Category 1 CME CreditsÂ. Each clinically focused session is designed to provide physicians and healthcare professionals the latest research, protocols and techniques in age management medicine, which can immediately be incorporated into their practice.
