The Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship provides scholarships for high school students and law enforcement Peace Officer Academy certifications. The charities philanthropic mission is to provide education and equipment grants for law enforcement communities to help make our children, families and communities safer. Additionally, we have a high school scholarship program designed to lessen the financial burdens of college education for tomorrow’s leaders. Education opportunities for students and families continue to decline each year due to monetary constraints caused by escalating education costs. The 501(c)(3) charity is to help offset education costs for High School students and provide critical equipment and training for law enforcement agencies.
The North Texas based charity sprouted in 2002 to honor the service of Mineral Wells Detective Craig Crawford. Through the scholarships, law enforcement and high school students receive the monetary support they need to complete training, education and/or state licensing programs. Annually, CCMS assists a variety of high school students and Law Enforcement Peace Officer Academy students.
