For the 20th year in a row, the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association (SBCVA) will celebrate the region’s heralded wines with a premium wine and food tasting event – “Vintners’ Festival”, taking place throughout the weekend of April 20th and 21st, from 12 to 3 p. m., at Firestone Meadow, near Los Olivios, CA. Santa Barbara County is recognized as a world-class wine-producing region, based on its singular combination of geology, climate and soil, unmatched anywhere in the world. Wine aficionados have flocked to this event in increasing droves over the years to experience a taste of the region’s premier wines.

Santa Barbara, CA (January 8, 2002) – For the 20th year in a row, the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association (SBCVA) will celebrate the region’s heralded wines with a premium wine and food tasting event – “Vintners’ Festival”, taking place throughout the weekend of April 20th and 21st, from 12 to 3 p. m., at Firestone Meadow, near Los Olivios, CA. Santa Barbara County is recognized as a world-class wine-producing region, based on its singular combination of geology, climate and soil, unmatched anywhere in the world. Wine aficionados have flocked to this event in increasing droves over the years to experience a taste of the region’s premier wines.

This yearÂ’s event will offer a taste of many award-winning wines from the 58 SBCVA wineries, paired with foods prepared by the areaÂ’s finest chefs. In addition, guests are invited to enjoy a barrel tasting and fine arts show, live jazz music, a silent auction benefiting Arts Outreach and community scholarship programs. In conjunction with the Festival, many wineries will hold open houses, special events and winemaker dinners throughout the weekend of April 19th-21st. A designated driver program is part of each event sponsored by the SBCVA. Additionally, bus service will be available from Santa Barbara, Solvang, Buellton and Santa Maria for a nominal charge. Reservations are required. General Admission tickets $75 for one day, $125 for both days. Designated Driver tickets $65 for one day, $105 for both days.
