Gingrich Endorses Rangel’s Challenger for Harlem’s 15th District House Seat

Newt Gingrich Endorses New York Congressional Candidate Rev. Michel Faulkner

New York, NY (PRWEB) October 3, 2010

Republican congressional candidate and pastor Michel Faulkner received the endorsement of former Speaker of the U. S. House of Representatives and General Chairman of American Solutions, Newt Gingrich.

Gingrich, a strong supporter of Faulkner’s Jobenomics initiative, is backing Faulkner over the long-entrenched incumbent, Charles Rangel. “The economy is under attack from the Obama Administration,” stated Gingrich, “we need people like Rev. Faulkner in Congress to fight for small business owners who are the job creators of America.” According to Rev. Faulkner, he and Gingrich “share a passion for small business development and job creation. We both believe that protecting the American Dream and passing it on to our children is the ultimate key to serving the American people.”

Unemployment is especially high in New York’s 15th District. Rev. Faulkner has worked with nationally recognized economist Chuck Vollmer to develop Jobenomics, a plan to bring 42,000 new jobs to Harlem by 2020. On a national level, Jobenomics will bring 20 million new jobs to America by 2020.

Faulkner has spent the last twenty years serving as pastor and community leader in Manhattan. As a proponent of free-enterprise, he has committed his life to helping the disadvantaged and those struggling financially by working to create job opportunities for a better life. Faulkner is running on the Jobs Now Party line as well as the Republican and Conservative party lines, which will bring light to what he believes is the preeminent issue facing Americans. “We need to bring jobs to Harlem, Washington Heights, and the rest of upper Manhattan, right now. We can’t wait any longer for Government solutions that will cost more than we can afford and be ineffective. The time is now.”

Faulkner is also a strong supporter of school choice and education improvement. In addition, he will work to either repeal the failed Health Care Reform bill that the current Congress passed or change it dramatically to cut the high cost it puts on the backs of small business owners and taxpayers.

Michel Faulkneris a husband and father of three and currently serves as Pastor of the New Horizon Church in Harlem, New York. This is his first run for political office.
