The newest music release from AbridgeClub. com Entertainment entitled, “Smart Songs 1 for Kids”, produced for children between the ages of 3 and 5, ends 2003 with a “Best Educational” award from ChildrensMusic. org.

A simple drive in the car can enhance a child’s learning development and improve memory. “Smart Songs” steers children on their road to kindergarten readiness by presenting educational topics such as planetary orbit, not talking to strangers, crossing the street, days of the week, the Spanish language, counting patterns and more in imaginative songs. Parents and educators are cheering the unique interactive lyrics that encourage children to sing along, mimic a phrase, or shout a response, while learning subjects taught in preschool and kindergarten classrooms. It is the first in a series of “Smart” music CDs that are definitely worth the drive. Lending their vocal talent are guest singers, Tim Russ (Tuvok), and Robert Picardo (The Doctor), from the TV series, Star Trek: Voyager.
ChildrensMusic. org is a non-profit resource for kids, families, and children's performers worldwide. Children in pre-school and kindergarten judged the entries in November 2003. Winning songs are run on special spots on the XM Satellite Radio channel.
